I know Atomikwave score, but without a complete video the problem is:

This score is made in neo geo aes or mvs? jap version or US version? is made in real hardware or emulator? and more important, settings (time, difficulty and other) are default or not? There are player 2 interjection during the play?

Because a score change totally if you change a single setting, is necessary know all about a score.

However I have all neo geo freak magazine, all Gamest magazine and all Arcadia magazine.

I know this is for KOF98, but I'm sure that it is the same story with Viewpoint, you cannot do the same scores on MVS or AES. Correct ?

In my experience, I use to score much more on arcade cabinet (so MVS hardware), because some stars appears more often etc, while at home on AES i couldn't get such a score.

I know all (or almost all) because I play for score to understand the limit of the score of the arcade games from 1989. And I have played for all my life. I know 50% of japanese players (I speak with them) that have made WR in neo geo games.

I'm expert in scores but not in all infos about a game, I never see / heard about cheng shin zan in samurai 2.

So whats the key to get secret stars and bonus in Viewpoint, if you say that there is no differences on both MVS & AES ?

I read all 67 neo geo freak magazine, and I'm sure that not exist any score for metal slug 1. Neo geo freak magazine not have a serious rules for hi-score, so is possible play also with not default settings (I found some score made with level easy).

However I know Metal Slug 101% (In 2011 I helped Ben Shinobi to made a new World Record because I know all for this game) and I can say that is impossible made score better of 3.350.000 with default settings.

If you find in web some scores better of 3.170.000 (Ben score) you can be sure: that is fake 100%.

On the web, forums, or you tube there are tons of score / video totally fake, made with save & load in emulator, cheats or dip switch alteration. Is necessary many experience to know a real score from a fake score, very difficult.
