Sinon, j'ai vu la première partie d'une partie de top hunter en 1cc . ( je ne peux pas voir la deuxième et c'est peut-être mieux comme cela )
C'est un joueur jap qui s'y colle, et il explique en même temps qu'il joue , même si c'est en jap, il joue tellement de manière cool que l'on comprends sa manière de jouer car il a une façon de jouer assez "explicative " et démonstrative .

Et sinon pour le special ending, c'est vrai que dans le document en italien , c'est expliqué mais je n'avais pas trop cherché à comprendre . Dans la vidéo, on comprend bien comment voir ce special ending . Dans le dernier stage, avant d'affronter le boss final, on doit se coltiner tous les autres boss . Et il faut tous les terminer ( y compris le boss final ) par un coup special spécifique comme c'est expliqué dans le document de Gemant ou dans la vidéo .

Yes, the hi-score system in Top Hunter is very interesting. My personal is 656.000 pts, without advanced technique. However max score possible is 2.600.000 pts.

Top Hunter is one of the best 5 neo geo games ever. And sack of dollars bonus item is a wonderful item ever.

Yes, SNK has done good job . It is always a good surprise when we see that manual is incomplete about specials attacks . All of that keeps us surprised when we play .
About your score, japanese player ( video link in my precedent message ) also uses very little advanced technique . ( no use of ryuuko ranbu for example )

Neo Geo CD games have differences in scores sometimes. Metal Slug is different (in score), Thrash Rally is all different, stakes winner is another game... Aggressors of Dark Kombat have a second loop in CD, some games seem have a different difficult (world heroes perfect, Pulstar).

For neo cd games i am surprised. For me in metal slug the only differences were sounds missing in MS1 and more slowdown in MS2. What is the different in score?
I didn't remember ADK cd has 2 loops. This game is the best original game with twinkle from adk. There is tons of hidden moves (like other neo geo game not in the manual) and fighting technic.
I think just thrash rally, stake and windjammer (maybe drift out) are really different.
I don't have Pulstar in cart but i have never felt different difficulty in WP. But like you said sometimes CD with same difficulty seem more easy.
Do you know if Aero fighter 3 is diiferent for scoring and have all the secrets on neocd? AF3 cd is a little bit different in animation ((pattern?). You can see this in the select screen. Animations are missing.

About SAMURAI SPIRITS / SHODOWN. What's the bug in the WR list?

Samurai Spirits have a big problem about score system in MVS version. Because a good amount of bonus points depend from TIME BONUS (30.000 for first best time, 20.000 for second best time, 10.000 for third best time), you can't obtained it in MVS version, because there is a memory battery (score saved, time attack saved etc.). After 1 day only, when many players played this game, the hi-score screen is full of results and in next days is impossible obtain this Time Bonus again, except if you delete all scores in memory. But in game center you can't delete. So in Japan this game is banned for score because is not possible enjoy this Bonus (that is part of the game).

Samurai Spirits necessity of 2 separate classifications if you want collect scores: MVS and AES (or MVS memory full and MVS memory empty if you prefer).

The best score known with memory card empty is in WR list, Time Bonus is about 230.000 pts in that score.

The best score known with memory card full (no time bonus) is 1.087.210 with Haohmaru, played in Japan in 1993. This score is the result of probably full 100% hitting % pattern

For do a record you have to reset the game. SNK did a mistake for this game, it's rare.

Neo Geo CD games are ports / convertions, and not original games as Neo Geo AES / MVS. There are tons of CD games with very big differences (usually the problem is graphics, with many less details, sprite smaller, less animations... and sometimes these differences are also in score system).
I have discovered all this in 1996, after a first week with Metal Slug released in game center.

With some my friends, I recorded with videocamera a full replay of Metal Slug 1 in game center, then, at home, on 2 tv togheter, I see the full replay from videocamera on tv in left, and neo geo cd game in action on tv on the right.

Frame after frame we have checked all details about differences. The final result is a long list of differences, over 100!!

After this experience, we have checked all neo geo cd games.... the beginning of infinite negative series of surprises.

In Metal Slug neo geo cd there are some items extra (not available in Neo Geo AES / MVS):

Stage 3:

There is a cat on the up of the house. Score value is random with 1/4 chances. Min 100 pts / Max 50.000 pts.

Stage 5:

Flower vase: 1.000 pts.
Pants (on the of first, third and fourth house): 1.000 / 50.000 pts (random chances to appearances).

On neo geo CD is possible made at least 200.000 pts more of AES / MVS version.
